AMERICAN CUT: This week Marc Forgione's American Cut launched a new bar menu available in the lounge area. Head there for snacks such as Shishito Peppers, Dry Aged Wagyu Sliders and “Popcorn” Shrimp alongside a Plank Smoked Old Fashion you won't find anywhere else.
BARCHETTA: Chelsea hotspot Barchetta has just launched a weekend brunch complete with their Italian spin on brunch staples. Try the Crostata Francese (baguette pumpkin french toast, apple-raisin compote, and maple syrup) along with one of their specialty cocktails. Or make this your 'hair-of-the-dog' destination with a Polpettone (Pat's Barchetta Burger) and choose from four signature Bloody Mary's like the oyster-topped Vongola or the extra spicy Arrabiata.
BAR URBO: The stylish cocktail lounge on the second floor of URBO in the Theater District, has just launched a FREE Monday night music series, 'Lights Out On Broadway'. Enjoy seasonal drinks, like the Little Apple, and tasty bites at this curated open-mic event hosted by dynamic vocalist Angela Birchett (best known for playing the role of Motormouth Maybelle on the national tour of Hairspray) backed by The B Side band.
PASAR MALAM: Williamsburg's recently opened Malaysian restaurant Pasar Malam, which translates to 'night market', now serves wine, beer and sake! Head there any day between 3pm and 8pm, order a cocktail like the Spiked Thai Iced Tea and get any appetizer for just $5. Hainanese Chicken Rice Balls you say? Yes please!
CMJ: The CMJ Music Festival continues through Saturday. Some of our favorite 'Live Entertainment' venues such as Baby's All Right, Verboten, and The Stand have a great line up of nightly events. CLICK HERE for the calendar.
